TSMC의 9월 매출은 최고치 기록

 

TSMC saw its September revenue hit a record high for the second consecutive month.

TSMC는 2개월 연속 사상 최고치 매출 달성.

 

TSMC reported consolidated revenue of NT$127.59 billion (US$4.44 billion) for September 2020, up 3.8% sequentially and 24.9% on year. Revenue totaled NT$977.72 billion for the first nine months of the year, rising 29.9% from the same period in 2019.

TSMC의 9월 매출은 1275.9대만달러(약 5.1조원)(미화 44.4억달러)로 전월대비 3.8%, 작년 동월대비 24.9% 증가.

3분기 매출은 3564.3억대만달러(약14.52조원)로 2분기대비 14.7% 증가.

이는 시장 예상치인 9.3% 증가를 넘어서는 결과.

2020년 1월부터 9월까지의 매출은 9777.2억 대만달러(약 39.1조원)로 전년 동기대비 29.9% 증가했다.

(참고로 TSMC의 1분기 매출 3106억 대만달러(약 12.42조원), 순이익 1170억 대만 달러(약 4.68조원)/

2분기 매출 3107억 대만달러(약12.43조원), 순이익 1208억 대만달러(약 4.83조원)이므로

1월부터 9월까지 순이익은 원화 약14.4조원정도로 추정된다.)

(2020.10.09현재 미국 시장에 상장돼 있는 TSMC의 주가는 88.78달러로 시총은 4087.57억달러(470조원)이다.

이는 삼성전자 399조원(보통주 356조원+ 우선주 42.5조원)의 1.178배에 해당.

1-2년내 삼성전자의 파운드리 매출이 TSMC의 50%정도에 이를 것으로 예상하면 삼성전자는 매우 저평가 상태로 봄.)

 

시장조사자들은 4분기 매출도 5nm 공정의 강한 수요로 증가할 것으로 예상.

2020년 연간 매출은 전년대비 20%이상 증가할 것.

 

TSMC's revenue for the third quarter reached NT$356.43 billion, up 14.7% on quarter.

The results apparently came above the company's guidance given previously of a 9.3% sequential increase

at the midpoint, and hit an all-time high.

 

Market watchers expect TSMC to post another sequential growth in fourth-quarter revenue, driven by strong demand for the foundry's 5nm process manufacturing.

TSMC is on track to see its 2020 revenue climb by over 20% on year, according to the watchers.

TSMC is scheduled to hold its quarterly earnings conference on October 15.
