AI 2.0 era arriving with challenges for enterprises, says Delta Research Center chief (digitimes.com)

 

The era of AI 2.0 is arriving along with the growing maturity and popularity of related technologies and tools, and enterprises must learn how to grasp the latest development trends and best utilize AI solutions to help them create maximum value, according to Tzi-cker Chiueh, director general of Delta Research Center, a research arm under Delta Electronics.

In the past, it was difficult to build more than five layers of neural networks to solve the complicated multi-connectivity problems due to technical constraints in the AI 1.0 era, Chiueh said.

But now the new wave of neural network development can facilitate more complex correlation analysis because of the increased number of network layers, he added.

 

과거에는 AI 1.0 시대의 기술적 제약으로 인해 복잡한 다중 연결 문제를 해결하기 위해 5개 이상의 신경망 레이어를

구축하는 것이 어려웠다고 츄에는 말했습니다.

그러나 이제 신경망 개발의 새로운 물결은 증가된 네트워크 계층 수로 인해 더 복잡한 상관 관계 분석을

용이하게 할 수 있다고 덧붙였습니다.

 

With new-generation technologies growing increasingly mature, AI 1.0 has become an essential fundamental

for enterprises and they will have to tackle a handful of challenges if they want to stand out in the AI 2.0 era,

Chiueh stressed.

 

차세대 기술이 점점 더 성숙해짐에 따라, AI 1.0은 기업에 필수적인 기본 요소가 되었으며

The first is how to develop AI training in the direction of automation.

In other words, the classification of AI-related data, the selection of architecture, and the setting of hyper-parameters should all be steered toward the automation direction.

즉, AI 관련 데이터 분류, 아키텍처 선정, 하이퍼파라미터 설정이 모두 자동화 방향으로 흘러가야 한다.

 

Then comes the challenge to build a machine learning model that can perform well

with only a small amount of data.

For some applications where data is not easy to get, it is particularly necessary to establish a model

that can produce the same benefits with reduced data.

 

그런 다음 적은 양의 데이터로 잘 수행할 수 있는 기계 학습 모델을 구축해야 합니다.

The third concerns the development of explainable AI.

Current AI training involves many black boxes that make it difficult for the outside world to understand the process of AI judgment.

Accordingly, the process of the black boxes should be made explainable and the logic

between them must be understood.

 

세 번째는 설명 가능한 AI의 개발에 관한 것입니다.

현재 AI 훈련은 외부 세계가 AI 판단 과정을 이해하기 어렵게 만드는 많은 블랙박스를 포함한다.

따라서 블랙박스의 진행과정을 설명할 수 있어야 하고 그 사이의 논리를 이해해야 한다.

 

The fourth is an issue related to AI security.

Chiueh said security here is not related to external attacks,

but mainly concerns how to protect AI models from being copied or stolen, in addition to data protection.

 

네 번째는 AI 보안과 관련된 문제이다.

츄에는 여기서 보안은 외부 공격과 관련이 없지만

데이터 보호 외에도 AI 모델이 복사되거나 도난당하지 않도록 보호하는 방법이 주요 관심사라고 말했습니다.

 

One more challenge lies in the breakthrough in training methods.

In recent years, there have been significant advancements in training technologies and tools,

such as the Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 (GPT-3), which has achieved impressive application results.

The main point is that these new technologies and tools can also be used to make possible derivations for future development.

 

또 다른 과제는 훈련 방법의 혁신에 있습니다.
