난야 8월 매출, 6개월만에 최저치

DRAM maker Nanya Technology has reported August revenue slipped 0.8% sequentially to a six-month low of NT$4.87 billion (US$166 million).

디램 제조사 대만의 난야는 8월 매출이 전달대비 0.8% 감소한 미화 1.66억 달러였다.

 

The revenue for August 2020 also represented a 6.7% decline compared to a year earlier.

Nanya's cumulative 2020 revenue through August totaled about NT$40.69 billion, rising 21.1% on year.

8월 매출은 전년 동월대비 6.7% 감소했다.

2020년1월부터 8월까지의 누적 매출은 전년 동기대비 21.1% 증가한 406.9억 대만달러였다.

 

Nanya expects to post flat sequential growth in bit shipments during the third quarter,

when DRAM contract prices are expected to also register flat sequential growth.

난야는 3분기 디램 가격이 전분기와 비슷할 때,  3분기 빗그로스도 비슷할 것으로 예상.

 

Nanya disclosed previously the company is looking to move its in-house developed first-generation 10nm process technology to risk production later this year, and is engaged in the development of its second-generation 10nm process that may be ready for risk production as early as 2021.

난야는 10나노 후반공정은 올해말 시험 생산하고, 10나노 중반 공정은 2021년 초반에 시험 생산할 것으로 발표.

 

Nanya also expressed optimism about the long-term DRAM market outlook, citing promising demand for emerging applications including AI, 5G, cloud computing, edge computing, self-driving and IoT.

난야는 인공지능, 5G, 클라우드 컴퓨팅, 엣지 컴퓨팅, 자율주행차와 사물인터넷등의 수요로

장기적인 낙관론을 표시했다.
