UMC posts record May revenue (digitimes.com)
Pure-play foundry United Microelectronics (UMC) has reported revenue increased 4.9% sequentially and 16.6% on
year to a record high of NT$17.19 billion (US$620 million) in May 2021.
대만 파운드리업체인 UMC는 전월대비 4.9%, 전년 동월대비 16.6% 증가한 6.2억달러의 5월 매출을 발표.
UMC saw its April and May revenue reach a combined NT$33.57 billion. Market watchers expect the company to see its second-quarter revenue meet or even beat the guidance given in late April.
UMC의 4월과 5월 매출 합계는 335.7억 대만 달러(한화 약 1.34조원)에 달했으며, 2분기 전체 매출은 예상치에 부합하거나 많을 것으로 추정된다.
At its most recent earnings call conference, UMC said that second-quarter bit shipments and ASPs would register sequential increases of 2% and 3-4%, respectively, with gross margin topping 30%.
UMC는 실적 발표 컨콜에서 2분기 출하량은 전분기대비 2%증가하고, 평균 판매가는 3-4% 상승하여,
매출총이익율이 30%를 상활 것이라고 언급햇다.
UMC disclosed its cumulative 2021 revenue through May grew 11.9% from a year earlier to NT$80.67 billion.
UMC는 올해 1월부터 5유ㅓㄹ까지 누적 매출은 전년 동기간대비 11.9% 증가한 806.7억 대만달러
(한화 약 3.22조원)에 달했다고 밝혔다.
