Adata SSD revenue hikes nearly 70% in June

6월 에이데이터의 SSD매출 70% 급증.

 

에이데이터의 6월 SSD 매출은 전년 동월 대비 70% 가까이 급증한 미화 3280만달러(한화 약 393억원)에 달했다.

 

에이데이터는 2020년2분기 매출이 73.3억대만달러(한화 약2640억원)에 달했고,

이는 전분기대비 2%증가, 전년 동기대비 31.6% 증가한 수치이다.

 

또 상반기 매출은 전년 동기 대비 21.2% 증가한 145.2억 대만달러(한화 약 5220억원) 에 달했다.

 

한편 산업용 메모리 모듈 제조사 이노디스크도 5G와 인공지능등의 수요로 하반기에 매출이

상반기를 넘어설 것으로 예상했다.

 

Memory module maker Adata Technology saw revenue generated from its SSD sales climb nearly 70% on year to NT$966 million (US$32.8 million) in June 2020.

 

Adata indicated that sales of its SSD products accounted for more than 35% for the second consecutive month in June, when the company reported consolidated revenue surged 41% from a year earlier to NT$2.73 billion.

 

Adata posted revenue of NT$7.33 billion in the second quarter of 2020, up about 2% on quarter and 31.6% from a year ago. Revenue totaled NT$14.52 billion for the first half of 2020, rising 21.2% on year.

 

Industrial memory module specialist Innodisk has disclosed its cumulative 2020 revenue through June increased 9.2% from a year earlier to NT$3.95 billion. The company has enjoyed brisk demand for healthcare, as well as server and other applications enabling remote work and distance learning, so far in 2020.

 

Innodisk expressed previously optimism about demand for 5G and AIoT device applications in the second half of 2020, when the company expects its sales performance to outperform that in the first half of the year.

 

In addition, Innodisk revealed that its InnoAGE, an SSD solution built with Microsoft Azure Sphere, has been adopted for more equipment and industrial control applications. The solution, which enables smart data analysis and updates, data security and cloud computing-based remote control, will be driving Innodisk' revenue growth this year.
